Just came back from my first Presidential Council Meeting which ended at 11p.m. earlier.
It was quite fun generally in the sense that I got a chance to meet all the young MMU leaders and have a clear picture how the hierarchy of authority goes about in MMU involving the student representative council and all the presidents of each clubs and societies.
Being one of them makes me proud! xD Mummy, additional pocket money please! Lolz...
The meeting didn't take long as the agendas for the 1st meeting weren't as much as I thought*
During the meeting, we were told that in the short future we'll not only going to be sole representatives of our respective clubs and societies but also as the representatives of MMU in any of the official Multimedia University or Student Council Representatives events where some of them will normally involves Ministers, the Prime Minister, the Sultan(s) and also the top executives of Multimedia University as well as TMnet.
I mean... Oh my?! This quick?! I didn't really know what to expect and how to respond to the matter but at the same time I couldn't deny that I was actually quite excited when I first heard about it.
We were also told that we will be representing more than 10,000 students in MMU which some of the time it requires us to be the spokesperson for some specific events.
Lastly, we were asked to collaborate with other clubs and societies for joint events with a flawless proposal. =.=" (flawless... dam* you)
Wisely speaking, it's really a great opportunity for me to gain experience and learn how things are done systematically in a big organization.
Unfortunately, for now, I couldn't really see how well will I adapt to the issue while getting high grades and managing my own society fine.
For your info, I'm already struggling with my studies though I'm only having 6 subjects for the current semester and to make things worse, I'll be having 7 subjects for the coming semester.
And for the next semester, I have 3 big events on hand to deal with (Chinese Language Society's annual biggest event, the CNY celebration event, Korean Language Society's Korean Language Classes promotions in MMU and annual event, the Little Korea in Ampang and all the important official events of the Presidential Council including Camps)
Sigh... In a few months time, I doubt I'll be a fat nerd.
Work hard now or later? I believe a lot of sloths out there would pick the 2nd option.
As for me, I chose the first and hopefully it's not a wrong one to choose for because it'll be too late for tears then...
Something to share before transforming into the pig of the night.
Good night* (>.<)
